Financial Assistance Guide for Adults/E-learners

In higher education, knowing your financing options can be as important as selecting the right program of study. Though adult and e-learners are eligible for financial assistance of various kinds, their financing options aren't always the same as traditional students.

Student financial assistance comes in many forms. State-run scholarships and grant programs are an obvious example, but assistance can also be in the form of tax benefits for those paying college tuition, waivers allowing e-learning students to pay the in-state tuition rate at an out-of-state institution, or investment plans that allow you to pay for higher education in the future at today's tuition rates.

The biggest key to understanding student financial assistance is understanding that each student's situation and eligibility is different. Knowing the types of aid that are available is important, but knowing what aid is available specifically to you is the real key!

By exploring this section, you can learn about the various forms of student financial assistance and find links to more financial assistance resources and information.
