CAMPUS SUMMARY
The campus of Truett-McConnell College is situated on 225 scenic acres in Cleveland, the county seat of White County, Georgia, in the southern foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Nearby are the headwaters of the Chattahoochee River and Lake Sidney Lanier. The resort town of Helen is 10 miles to the north, Gainesville is 25 miles to the south, and Atlanta is 85 miles to the southwest.

Truett-McConnell was founded in 1946 as a two-year Georgia Baptist college, named for George W. Truett and Fernando C. McConnell, pioneers in Christian higher education in the mountains of Northeast Georgia. Its mission is to equip students to make a positive impact for Christ through disciplined scholarship and Christian discipleship.
