CAMPUS SUMMARY
Wayland Baptist University is a private, church-related, coeducational university that seeks to serve both traditional and non-traditional undergraduate and graduate students. As the oldest institution of higher education on the High Plains of West Texas, the coeducational, multipurpose university is dedicated to providing quality higher education grounded in a liberal arts tradition. Wayland offers a strong liberal arts education in a traditional setting while also providing at all campuses degree programs which serve the needs of an older, highly mobile, fully-employed population seeking opportunities in higher education.

UNIQUE/SPECIAL PROGRAMS
Wayland offers associate and baccalaureate degrees with a strong liberal arts core of courses, as well as offering five master's degrees. In addition, a non-traditional degree, the Bachelor of Science in Occupational Education (BSOE), is also offered to provide a flexible course format to permit fully-employed adults to pursue a degree. Since 1908, Wayland Baptist University has remained committed to a mission of integrating faith and learning.
