CAMPUS SUMMARY
Chartered in 1857 as a small, private liberal arts college, Tennessee Wesleyan College continues its tradition today as an important center of learning in Southeast Tennessee. We take pride in our role as a small church-related college affiliated with the United Methodist Church. We have a forty-acre, tree-lined campus that provides a serene, tranquil setting for scholars. Located halfway between Knoxville and Chattanooga in the rolling foothills of the Great Smoky Mountains, TWC is located in Athens, Tennessee, and thrives within its Southern, small town atmosphere. We're a community of leaders: men and women who believe in taking pride in our heritage, seizing today's opportunities and welcoming the challenges of the future. Our facilities include a state-of-the-art business and art building, the Merner-Pfeiffer Library and a new three-story apartment-style residence hall.
