West Liberty University is a public, four-year undergraduate and graduate institution located just north of Wheeling, WV. Established in 1837, West Liberty is proud to be West Virginia's oldest institution of higher education.

The mission statement for the University is:

Located in the Northern Panhandle of West Virginia, West Liberty is located 10 miles north of Wheeling, WV. West Liberty is just a ten minute drive from Oglebay Resort, which includes golf, skiing, tennis, swimming, and hiking. The cities of Pittsburgh, PA, Washington, PA, and Steubenville, OH are all within an hour's driving distance. |
