Davidson County Community College – a comprehensive community college established in 1958 – provides quality educational programs and services to prepare people in Davidson and Davie counties for enhanced employment and educational opportunities. During the 2005-06 academic year, the College provided more than 16,000 individuals with instruction. DCCC has 2 campuses: the Davidson Campus, which has 11 buildings on 97 acres, and the Davie Campus in Mockville, NC which has three buildings and an emergency services training facility on 45 acres. DCCC also offers classes at its two newest sites: the Uptown Lexington Education Center and the Thomasville Education Center. |

Davidson County Community College offers over 40 curriculum programs. The College's Associate in Arts, Associate in Science, Associate in General Education, Associate in Fine Arts, and Associate in Applied Science degree programs provide preparation for transfer to senior institutions and for transition into the workforce. Diploma and certificate programs prepare students to enter the workforce in a wide range of occupations. Some of the programs of study DCCC offers include: Nursing (ADN), Criminal Justice, Information Systems Technology, Early Childhood Associate, Cosmetology, Truck Driver Training, Community Spanish Interpreter, and Business Administration. |
