Edgecombe Community College has 2 locations. One campus is in downtown Rocky Mount, NC, a town of about 50,000 people. The main campus is on an 85-acre tree-lined site in Tarboro, NC which is a town of about 10,000. ECC is about 100 miles from the Crystal Coast and one hour from Raleigh, NC. Both campuses have about the same number of students and are full-service institutions complete with library, student services, and business office. The college offers degrees in 32 different programs and the employment rate of graduates is over 85%within 6 months of graduation. |

| UNIQUE/SPECIAL PROGRAMS |

Edgecombe Community College is known for its excellent allied health (nursing, respiratory care, radiography, health information technology, surgical technology, medical assisting, medical transcription, and CT/MRI), networking technology, and manufacturing technology programs, complete with a state-of-the-art computer integrated manufacturing laboratory. Some courses are available over the internet to increase access to our programs.
Other established programs include criminal justice, early childhood associate, information systems technology, and mechanical drafting. |
