CAMPUS SUMMARY
Meredith College is one of the largest colleges for women in the United States. Meredith has earned a national reputation for providing high quality academic experiences. The College's 225-acre campus in Raleigh, N.C., is an ideal location for living and learning. Raleigh, the state capital, is home to Research Triangle Park, museums, restaurants, shopping, professional sports, and countless cultural opportunities. Meredith, an independent, comprehensive college with an emphasis on the liberal arts, was founded in 1891 by N.C. Baptists.

UNIQUE/SPECIAL PROGRAMS
Personal attention, academic advising, and access to our knowledgeable faculty are hallmarks of a Meredith education. With a low student to faculty ratio of 10:1 and an average class size of 16, you'll get to know your professors, and they will know you.

With over 40 majors, the academic possibilities are almost endless. Meredith's academic programs are rooted in the liberal arts while also emphasizing experiential learning through research, study abroad, internships, and cooperative education programs.

Meredith ranked 13th among Best Master's Universities in the South on the "U.S. News & World Report's 2004 America's Best Colleges" listing.
