Barton College is located in Wilson, NC. We are conveniently located 7 miles from I-95 and only one hour from the Raleigh/Durham/RTP area. The namesake of the College is Barton W. Stone who was a major figure in the founding of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ). In 1902 Barton College, under its former name of Atlantic Christian College, was founded with the affiliation of the DOC. |
