CAMPUS SUMMARY
Belmont Abbey College is a 4-year, private, Catholic liberal arts college. The Abbey is situated on 650 beautiful acres just outside of Charlotte, NC. Located 1 1/2 hours from the mountains, and 3 hours from the beaches allows our students to enjoy hiking, white water rafting, sea kayaking, skiing, and other outdoor activities. Students enjoy extensive contact with faculty, NCAA Division II athletics, intramural sports, Greek systems, and many other campus activities.


UNIQUE/SPECIAL PROGRAMS
Belmont Abbey College offers over 40 majors, minors, and concentrations. The Abbey is committed to a strong liberal arts education, and thus has an extensive core curriculum. Students will benefit from coursework in English literature, writing, history, political science, math, science, theology, philosophy, fine arts, and international studies. Our 17:1 student/professor ratio instills critical thinking skills and an adaptability that carries over into life and career.
