CAMPUS SUMMARY
For more than 200 years the college mission has been to prepare students for success. We help students make the transition between high school and the senior institution of their choice. Virtually any major can be started at Louisburg; we have developed comprehensive transfer agreements with many public and private colleges and universities; including the sixteen universities in the University of North Carolina system. As a traditional, two-year, liberal arts college, we offer students the opportunity to attend college with their peers while enjoying the benefits of residential college life. We also offer field varsity teams in baseball/softball, basketball, golf, volleyball, and soccer. Because Louisburg is a two-year college, our students have the opportunity to fill leadership roles that normally go to juniors and seniors. This is what Louisburg College is all about - providing students the opportunity to begin developing into the adults they would like to become.

UNIQUE/SPECIAL PROGRAMS
Louisburg College has a long history of service provided by generation after generation of committed, caring, and concerned faculty. Here at Louisburg College we are committed to teaching more than just college curricula. We are committed to building partnerships between students and faculty by teaching students how they can fulfill their dreams of a college degree. We do this through a dedicated network of services designed to promote student excellence. We pride ourselves in our small student-professor ratios and easy out-of-class access to the classroom professors, as well as our rigorous but supportive academic atmosphere. Our support comes from all parts of campus whether it be the residential mentors living on each floor of the resident halls or the learning specialists working in our Learning Partners program for students with learning disabilities and attention deficit disorder. Louisburg is a place where, as the saying goes, "whatever the mind can conceive and believe, you [can] acheive."
