The Career Key
The Career Key is a free service to help you with career planning, conducting a job search, and choosing a college major or training program. This site contains a free online assessment that measures your skills, abilities, values, interests, and personality. Information is also provided on job search strategies, career counseling, networking, career exploration, and informational interviewing.
Career One-Stop
The Career One-Stop site provides a wealth of information for students and job seekers on many different topics, including job search, job descriptions, skills requirements, and skill and personality assessments.
Be sure to visit the Skill Center and the Skill Assessment area, where you can discover what knowledge, skills, and abilities are required for teaching and other occupations.
The Skills Profiler and the O-Net Interest Profiler are also very useful assessments to help you determine whether you might have the skills used in a teaching career and whether teaching matches your vocational interests.
